Reed Laughlin became affiliated with Westminster Financial in May of 2017 as Managing Director of Investments. An experienced professional with 56 years in the financial services industry, he formerly worked for Credit Suisse as director and head of Wealth Management in London for Northern Europe, Southern Africa and Israel. Prior to Credit Suisse, Reed spent six years with Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette managing ultra net worth equity portfolios for European and South African families. Reed also worked for SBC Warburg Dillon Read as senior vice president and manager of the U.S. institutional business in Europe. Reed spent 14 years as senior vice president, managing senior institutional accounts in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia with Paine Webber. Reed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international finance from Colgate University. He also serves as committee member on the St. Thomas University Investment Committee in Miami.

Having lived and worked in London for 30 years, he has a greater appreciation of the global nature of the investment business and, subsequently, the need to widen one’s investment horizons. Reed believes relationships are built on trust, and that is why he has worked with the majority of his clients for over 20 years.
